Hello!

My name is Kristo Kaiv and i work as DB development team lead at Skype.
This blog is partly my own hobby but also serves a purpose as a place to publish and promote the tools people in Skype have created to manage our high availability PostgreSQL cluster. The SQL tips&tricks part servers mostly as my personal high fidelity memory ( the organic one doesn’t tend to store anything beyond 2 weeks ). Hope you’ll find something useful here.

    Let’s accept for me already there is a working DB on Postgresql e24.
    I wish to make horizontal scaling with the help plproxy

    To me what to create a separate DB for a proxy?

    I specify

    There is a worker бд – e24
    At installation plproxy it it is necessary to put it in a separate DB? Or in e24, having created the circuit plrpoxy?

    If in separate – that my program on PHP works with e24. How it will find a DB of a proxy and to fulfil inquiries?
